You can even find one of my other tutorials on how to add HTML Signatures in Lion, Mountain Lion, iOS 7, Mavericks, Yosemite, El Capitan, Sierra, or High Sierra. However, the process has changed ever so slightly for the new macOS. By creating an HTML email using an HTML editor that is not Microsoft Word or Outlook, you have the chance to test how the code will display in various browsers and mail clients. For example, you can use a free online service from Litmus Software which will let you test your HTML code’s appearance in more than thirteen email clients. Create a new signature

• Edit/delete the website URL “http://www.example.com” and link text “example.com”

Save and lock mail signature file

When you are finished, Save the mail signature file and lock the file (otherwise, Apple mail will destroy everything you‘ve done). Click on the arrow in the header bezel of TextEdit and lock the mail signature file:

The Guild Guitar company is an American guitar manufacturer with over 50 years of experience making quality value guitars that are made to be played. They are one of the world’s most historic guitar manufacturers, and they have a reputation for building iconic instruments.

Founded in 1952 by Alfred Dronge, a music-store owner and professional guitarist, and George Mann, a previous executive and vice president at Epiphone Guitar Company, Guild Guitars was created to become a fantastic alternative after the Gibson-Epiphone merger.

It all began in a 1,500-square foot loft in New York City during October of 1952. The location was strategically placed in between two lucrative communities to the forefront of this new guitar company with their target audience. The experienced craftsmen who were working at the nearby Gretsch and Epiphone factories, as well as a community or top jazz guitarists in New York, frequented the area at the time.

Guild hired some experienced craftsmen to design and produce the new, original Guild Guitars, and the owners used their connections with recording artists to receive valuable testing and professional insight on creating the perfect guitar. Because Guilds are made to be played, as their motto, the guitars needed to be perfect for the average player and perfected to meet guitarists needs.

Only a year into the company’s beginning, Mann left the company to Dronge. Although their partnership dissolved, Dronge was as determined as ever to transform his dream into a reality. He began to seek out better craftsmen when he found that the answer lies in men such as the “Three Amigos,” who helped make Guild Guitars what they are today.

Gilbert Diaz, who has extensive experience with Gretsch, Carlo Greco, a classical guitar craftsman, and Fred Augusto, a finishing specialist, came on the scene to make Guilds the best they could be. These men are alone responsible for crafting more than 25 years of Guilds and perfect the guitars.

Vintage Guild Serial Numbers

The mid-1950s also led to Guild hiring Bob Bromberg as a general plant manager, who was responsible for some of the company’s tremendous growth into the 1960s. And long-time plant manager Willi Fritscher helped carry on a legacy of great craftsmanship.

Soon, the company began to take off. By 1957, the company was growing and finding major success. The increased number of orders, though, forced Guild to relocate to a much larger factory in Hoboken, New Jersey. Suhr Guitars

Some big-name guitarists of the day helped the company create signature models, and the jazz market was growing considerably. They worked with jazz performers like Johnny Smith and George Barnes, both of whom helped create high demand models that would go on to win awards and fame.

Guild even went on to create Slash’s infamous double neck guitar in the 1990s, a 12-string semi-acoustic on top and 6-string electric on the bottom. This design allowed the famous guitarist to switch easily from acoustic to electric mid-song without changing guitars in the middle of a performance.

Some other Guild endorsees included Don Arnone, Barry Galbraith, Carl Kress, and Bert Weedon, among many other top musicians. Guilds first collaboration with Johnny Smith led to the Award model, which was popular from 1956-1960. Many other guitar models would go down in history. The hollow-body of Duane Eddy’s signature Guild, for example, became a classic instrument in rockabilly history.

Once the 1960s hit, the popularity of jazz music faded. Music trends turned to rock, folk, and pop, and Guild pivoted to keep with the times. Guild continued working with prominent music artists in various genres, and the company began forming solid body electric and bass guitars. Business at the Hoboken factory continues to expand, selling more and more guitars until they had to expand once more.

Guild expanded, opening another factory in Westerly, Rhode Island. There, Guild could continue to grow and meet their increased production numbers while the main office remained in New Jersey.

Unfortunately, Dronge died as a result. His untimely death took place while commuting to the factory in his private plane in May of 1972. When the plane ran into heavy weather, it went down and blew away the Guild company.

Losing Dronge effected Guild considerably, and the company experienced some challenging times throughout the 1970s and 1980s. They continued producing quality instruments, with high ideals for craftsmanship. However, Guild was eventually bought out by Fender Musical Instruments in 1995.

Attempting to preserve the Guild visions and tradition, Fender CEO Bill Schultz was committed to maintaining Guild as it was. All the things Guild made great would continue to prosper while Fender would now benefit from their high-quality craftsmen and equipment as well as their long-time close ties with some of the finest guitar players in the industry.

In the 2000s, Guild moved to from Westerly, Rhode Island to Corona, California for a few short years and finally to Tacoma, Washington, where they decided to stop making electric guitars in America to instead focus on the new Guild Acoustic Design series based on iconic American designs.

Organizational Power and Conflict
Today, clear majority of individuals are on a constant struggle to achieve more, when it comes to work. Social status is usually measured by the individual’s occupation, thus there is always a constant need to achieve a higher and more powerful position within one’s organization. One of the biggest issues in larger organizations, is the need to have more power than the next individual and this can lead to several workplace conflicts. Organizations are virtual minefields when it comes to interpersonal relations. It is often the case that people who do not know each other, are not compatible, or who do not even like each other are thrown together in organizations and expected to work together harmoniously and productively (Nelson A., 2017). I believe that if the need to compete between colleagues was taken out from an organization and replaced with the need to achieve more as a team, the organization would be a lot more successful and the employees would be able to enjoy their job and workplace environment.
However, at the center of these organizations, lies the issue and need for power. What is power? Power is the ability to influence other people to do what you want them to do. One might think having power is good and ideal, however power can be an issue specially when it comes to issues of difficult colleagues (Nelson A., 2017). Power changes people and those who rise to the tops of companies and other organizations tend to prioritize their own goals and desires above those of others. These individuals fail to take other people’s perspectives into account, tend to disregard other people’s feelings and are, less polite. When these individuals position within that company is threatened, they act aggressively to preserve their position of power (Greer L., 2014).
Per McClelland’s need theory, people have three needs in the workplace. First is the need for achievement, second is the need for affiliation and finally the need for power. When it comes to larger organizations, the need for power comes first in the workplace, followed by the need to achieve more and last the need for affiliation. However, in smaller organizations the need to achieve more comes first, since individuals usually tend to work together to achieve the same goal. The need for power comes second within the smaller organizations and finally the need for affiliations comes last (Nelson A., 2017).




Conflict in a workplace and the need for power in an organization almost always go hand in hand. It is always good to avoid conflict in a workplace. With conflict comes other unnecessary issues that can have a negative effect on the quality and efficiency of work itself. We might ask ourselves what are some ways that we can avoid a workplace conflict? While conflict is a normal part of any social and organizational setting, the challenge of conflict lies on how one can deal with it. Concealed, avoided or otherwise ignored, conflict will likely grow into resentment, create withdrawal and cause infighting within the organization. The root of most conflicts is either born out of poor communication or inability to control one’s emotions (Myatt M., 2012). Some of the ways that one can avoid conflict in a workplace is by effective communication. Chances are everyone can do a little bit better to avoid stepping on each other toes if there are no misunderstandings and miscommunications amongst coworkers and the management. Sometimes one cannot avoid conflict at all cost and that’s when it’s better to hit conflict head-on and deal with it rather than avoiding it and causing it to escalate into a bigger issue. One other effective way to resolve conflict is by keeping in mind the other persons point of view and their objective. If we all can achieve what we need to achieve then there should be no need for conflict. In other words, happy colleagues and workplace, means a happier you. However, we cannot always control the actions of others in a workplace, and we can always do our best to the right thing.
In conclusion, our society characterizes individuals social class by what they do for a living. This can cause a major power struggle to achieve a higher position within ones’ organization or workplace. Depending on the type of organization one is working for, the McClelland’s three need theories are prioritized differently for bigger and smaller organizations. In the larger organizations, the need for power comes first followed by the need for achievement and finally the need for affiliations. However, in a smaller organization the need to achieve comes first followed by the need for power and finally the need for affiliation, last. The characterization of McClelland’s need theory determines ones’ priority within his or her workplace. We must understand that with the need for power almost always there is conflict involved. Even though there are ways for colleagues to avoid conflict to their best of ability, there still will be some conflict. The best thing to always remember is, if we all can achieve what we need to achieve, then there should be no need for conflict. Happy colleagues and workplace, means a happier you.

The 'Bhrigu Samhita' is an Astrological (Jyotish) classic written by 'Maharishi Bhrigu' during the Vedic period. Although the available evidence suggests that this was compiled over a period of time by the various Sishyas (Students in the lineage) of Maharishi Bhrigu. It is confirmed cannon that saint Bhrigu was the first compiler of predictive Astrology i.e. the Fifth Veda of Treta Yug or beginning of Hindu culture and ancient age. (The first four are the Rig, Yajur, Sama and Atharva Veda which are Sruti 's having been heard by the Maharishi's from the mouth of Lord Brahma). Maharishi Bhrigu compiled about 5 lakh horoscopes with help of Lord Ganesha and recorded the life details and events of the persons along with their ages. This formed the database for further research and study. This study culminated in the birth of the science (Shastra) of determining the quality of time (Hora) and is the Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra. These Horoscopes were based upon the Planetary position of the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. After that, Maharishi Bhrigu gave his predictions on different types of Horoscopes compiled by him with the help of Lord Ganesha in a brief and concise manner. The total permutations/ possible horoscope charts that can be drawn with this is about 45 Million.
During the foreign invasions in India, Brahmin community was dispersed all over India. The invaders also captured these prime assets of Brahmins. For them, it was a miraculous form of telling the fortune of a person and some parts of the 'Bhrigu Samhita' were taken away by them to some foreign countries. The most unfortunate and destructive happening was the destruction of Nalanda University library by Mughals. Later on 1 or 2 Lakhs of Horoscope of 'Bhrigu Samhita' remained with the Brahmin community which are now scattered in various parts of India. It is also very unfortunate that some wrong people claiming to have in their possession the original bhrigu samhita but in reality it is a cheap and fraudulent form of bhrigu samhita.
If an original 'Bhrigu Samhita`s leaf containing the horoscope of an individual is available correctly, it not only can predict the past, present and future, but also reveals the consulting day, time and date of the individual along with the remedial measures.
